Yes I do think that Ivan has changed because in the beginning of this book Ivan never told stories to Ruby and now that Stella is gone he is telling stories to Ruby. I know this because on the pages 122, 123, and 124 it shows that Ivan is telling stories.

And Ivan has changed on the inside.I think this because Stelle is gone and he feels like he is the one that is in charge and he feels like he is supposed to take care of Ruby and he feels like he is the leader of everyone.
Ivan has changed by Being more wise I feel as though on page number 111 and 112 I imagined his voice has low he was strong but sounded wise in the ton he used.Also he has been having a bit more sorrow and loneliness.He will try to keep the promise but he worries though about how he will keep it.

Ivan said that when he promised Stella he was just trying to impress her.He thinks of himself as a sliver back but the really does not know how to take care of a baby elephant.
