I think that Ivan’s poster that he made caused the protesters to come because it kind of says that he wants Ruby to be free from the Big Top Mall. I think that he made the sign for Ruby because on page 208 Ivan says “ I am angry at last.” I have someone to protect.” He made the poster for Ruby to protect her.Then a few days later after he made the sign the protesters came because they saw the sign and wanted Ruby to be free.
I think that the protesters came because when the camera people came to take pictures the cameraman was looking around he saw the claw stick and then after the day that he took the pictures with the claw stick the protesters came and said on sighs that Ivan and Ruby should be free and I think that they did that because the protesters saw the picture of the claw stick and I think they were worried that Ivan and Ruby would get hit by the claw stick.
The protesters came because the camera man had taken a picture of Mack’s claw stick and put it on the news for the whole world to see,they probably knew that it was to hurt Ruby so they wanted to free her from The Big Top Mall along with The One And Only Ivan.It was not the sigh that said home because that just brought more and more people to come and see Ivan and Ruby.
I think that the posters were caused by Ivan’s paintings. They must have saw some of Ivan’s artwork and thought that the painting was telling them something. That’s maybe why they made posters.
